Adon Foster

Adon comes to to us with a wealth of experience - early in his career he received a scholarship to the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, from which he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music. At the same time he was staff musician at Radio Station WHAM in Rochester, he played with the Rochester Philharmonic.

From there he moved on to Ohio where he was with the Oxford String Quartet in residence at Miami University Oxford, Dayton Opera Orchestra, Middletown Symphony Orchestra and Nashville, TN, Symphony Orchestra; in each he was either Concertmaster or conductor. At Bowling Green University, KY, he was chairman of the Music Department and Professor of Music at Oxford, Ohio University. He holds the title of Professor Emeritus of Music from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.

When Adon is not bowing with his right arm, he is swinging golf clubs on the local links.
