Kurt M. Klotz Born in Dunedin and raised in Largo Florida, Kurt is a graduate of Seminole High School, Seminole Florida. He credits his musical ability to the late Paul T. Nicholson (7-9 grade music director at Madeira Beach Jr. High), Dr. Heller (TBS "hard-driving director) but mostly to his mother (Mary) and father (George) who, while not musicians themselves, loved music of all kinds and handed down their same passion. ...sorry Dusty and Chris! Local music involvement includes the Tampa Bay Symphony, City Players, Sunshine City Band and the Tampa Bay Symphony Horn Quartet. Teaches Horn privately and regularly performs at St.Pauls Methodist, Largo and First United Methodist, St. Petersburg. Kurt is also an active musician in the Veterans Administration National Medical Musical Group Orchestra (VA-NMMG) and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, as well locations in Rome, London, Wales, and Vegas. VA-NMMG was awarded the prestigious Congressional Medal of Honor Society's "Bob Hope" Award in 2002 for their support of American Veterans and most recently, post-911, performed with the group in the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill.
