Kimberly Rini
Flute - Piccolo

Kimberly is a professional flutist who has been performing for over 20 years. In high school she studied flute with the late Martha Rearick at the University of South Florida. She served as principal flute of the Pinellas Youth Symphony from 1991-1994 and was the 1994 Florida Music Teachers National Association grand prize winner.

Kimberly was a member and principal flutist of the Notre Dame Symphony and Notre Dame Chamber Orchestra from 1994-1998. Her passion for the arts took her to New York City where she earned a Master's degree in Arts Administration from Columbia University. She worked for Carnegie Hall as a grant writer and then joined Chase Manhattan Bank as a grant maker for education and the arts. In 2002, she transferred to Florida and joined the Tampa Bay Symphony

Kimberly has participated in master classes with the legendary James Galway, Alexa Still and Peter Lloyd. She lives in the Westchase area of Tampa with her husband and two children ages 1 and 3. She is an active member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor and is an avid runner. Her website is at: http://mysite.verizon.net/krini
