Instrumentalists, Vocalists and Pianists, from across the entire State of Florida, were invited to submit audition recordings for a chance to perform with the Orchestra in April 2012, and a receive a cash prize.  Follow these links for additional information: "Competition Rules"  and "Application".

2011/12 YAC Brochure

The final audition has concluded and a winner has been selected. Three competition finalists performed before a panel of judges at the Music Gallery in Clearwater. This year, the competition was again close and after an afternoon of auditions, Judges Susan B. Robinson, Mark Sforzini, Laurel Bennett, and Kurt Klotz awarded Nadia Azzi (Piano) winner of this year's competition. Azzi will perform the first movement of Beethoven's Piano Concert No. 2 at the Orchestra's Spring Concert series in April 2012, and received a cash prize.
